Arizona fathers of all abilities should be able to find support easily. The coalition designs this website toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards and welcomes feedback on how we can do better.
Our Commitment
This website is built with accessibility as a core requirement, not an afterthought. We design toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and review the site as it grows.
What We Build In
- Keyboard-accessible navigation with a “Skip to main content” link and visible focus states on every interactive element.
- Strong color contrast between text and backgrounds throughout the site.
- Descriptive links and alt text for images so screen readers convey meaning clearly.
- A clear heading hierarchy on every page so content can be navigated by structure.
- Large touch targets for buttons, links, and form controls on mobile devices.
- Readable form labels paired with every input, visible required-field indicators, and clear success and error messages.
- Mobile-first layouts that work on phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Captions for future videos — any video content the coalition publishes will include captions.
Language Access
The site is structured so that Spanish versions of essential resource, event, privacy, and contact pages can be added. Spanish translations will be introduced as the coalition approves content. [Spanish-language pages — planned.]
